Nice job, Basil and co-Cotillion ladies.
Why quit when you are ahead?
Ok. Buying stuff made in China is bad. Buying stuff from WalMart is bad.
I just had to replace my alarm clock today and bought one from WalMart for $5. Yes, it was made by prisoners in China.
Here’s what got me:
Whereinhell you gonna find anyone anywhere who’s gonna get me an alarm clock for $5 that’s made by an American prisoner???
Ours are too busy doing radio shows and stuff.
FWIW, the one I had to replace was given to me about 12 years ago, used, by my friend Bill who got it from my friend Jennifer who got it out of the Co-op free box.
Copy and paste, bookmark...whatever.
But pass it on:
ackJay urthaMay ABSCAM Scandal andalScay.
(what’s ABSCAM in igPay atinLay????)

I’m gonna drop out of this Truth Laid Bear Ecosystem deallio.
It means absolutely nothing anymore.
Too much link whoring and manipulating stats everywhere have just made it pointless and silly.
Too bad, were it an honest assessment it could be a valuable service...but it’s just gone too bastardized by the very same people it’s supposed to genuinely assist.
See ya!

I’m now a Large Mouth Bass! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
But wait! There’s more!
Anyone know how to “hide” the Blogrolling blogroll? I think it’ll help the page load faster if it’s off the main page. At least for sure when Blogrolling’s having problems....when they do, we do.
And we have to “feed” deallios there on the left in case you’re interested. I’m a bit too ‘tarded to know how they work....and if anyone cares to explain in comments some of us would appreciate it.
Beth and Ben helped set it up but I think there’s still some glitches...I’m hoping Beth might see it in her gorgous heart to help me fine tune things....
Yea. I’m a little grumpy and in a fit right now.
Moore enlisted in the military at a difficult time in his life. He had just gotten out of a five-year relationship and saw the Army as a way to travel and pay for his schooling. He acknowledged that he lacked awareness of the military and its principles and ethics when he signed his enlistment contract.
He checked the box indicating he was not a conscientious objector.
“I never signed a contract to say it’s okay to kill,” he said.
An easy mission. Because it’s what we do best and it’s our job.
Because we do what’s right.

Pick up my jaw and hand me my eyeballs
Rove strikes again?
So I fall outta bed, do the immensely complex dance necessary to make coffee in a foreign land and flip on the telly. NBC news station… Iraq report.... WHAAAAAAA?!?!?!?
Reporter talking about a Major giving a book-bag to an Iraqi school kid who was so proud and felt “so cool!” How the troops believe in their mission, see progress every day, aren’t even affected by the nattering nabobs of negativity in the CommieCongress and MSM!!!! Full Positive Report.
Hmmmm… Flipping around I see Woolsey [old CIA head] talking about how in favor of the Iraq war he was and still is. [dumb statement about how the current admin shouldn’t have pushed the WMD issue—as *I* saw it it was the MSM/DNC complex that did that ,,,but that’s not important now.
in re Libby: “We could create quite a cottage industry here in DC investigating anything and everything even when there is no underlying crime” [bwahahaha]
*Something* is in the works… Add in the strong statements of P and VP..... And that dumbass statement of al Zaquari about “oh yeah—we were targeting *Americans* at a Jordinian wedding… no, really… “
This is gonna be fun....
[oops—Iran just voted to block UN inspections. Saddam Redux?]

A woman holds a sign for Stanley ‘Tookie’ Williams in San Quentin, California November 19, 2005. Rapper Snoop Dogg, once a member of the Crips gang, called for authorities to spare Stanley ‘Tookie’ Williams, the gang’s co-founder, as hundreds gathered outside the prison to protest against his planned execution next month. Williams received the death penalty for killing four people in 1979.
Need I say more?
OK, if you insist!
A son of convicted murderer Stanley Tookie Williams, who is scheduled to be executed next month at San Quentin state prison, is being sought on suspicion of sexually molesting a 13-year-old girl in San Bernardino County, authorities said today.
Lafayette Jones, 36, a convicted sex offender, is wanted on a $600,000 warrant that a Superior Court judge issued Tuesday, Fontana police spokesman Sgt. Bill Megenney said.
“We believe he is either hiding in the area of Los Angeles or may possibly have left the state,” Megenney said.
Jones faces charges of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14, assault with a deadly weapon, making terrorist threats and false imprisonment, Megenney said.
Law enforcement officials are considering additional charges of failing to register as a sex offender and being an ex-felon in possession of a firearm, he said.
Jones has an extensive record of felony convictions, some of which stem from an incident in Louisiana similar to the one for which he is being sought, Megenney said.
On Saturday, Jones phoned a 13-year-old Fontana girl whose family he knew and found out she was home alone, police said. He told her he would take her shopping for shoes and clothes at Ontario Mills Mall, police said.
When she got into his car, he put a gun to her head and forced her to perform sex acts on him while he was driving, authorities said.
Once at the mall, he allegedly forced her to drink alcohol and then took her to a movie, after which she was able to escape and contact police at a mall substation.
“He had her for about six hours before she was able to get away,” Megenney said. “She was so drunk and sick from the alcohol she couldn’t even remember what movie he took her to.”
The girl suffered unspecified injuries, he said.
Police later found Jones’ car still parked at the mall, allegedly with a .45-caliber semiautomatic pistol inside.
Megenney said Jones had been living with a family in Fontana and working in the Los Angeles area as a welder until his hosts found out that he was a convicted sex offender and kicked him out.
Jones’ family told police he is the son of Williams, 51, who co-founded the Crips gang as a teenager in South Central Los Angeles.
Williams was convicted of the execution-style murder of 7-Eleven clerk Albert Owens during a robbery in Whittier (Los Angeles County) in 1979, and of murdering the owners of a Los Angeles motel, Tsai-Shai Yang and Yen-I Yang, and their daughter, Ye Chen Lin, in a robbery two weeks later.
While in prison, he has worked to steer kids away from gang activity and violence. He is scheduled to be executed Dec. 13. His lawyers are continuing their appeals and have asked Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to grant clemency.

Nice job with your son, dad.
