something fishy in Denmark Tejas
Two Border Patrol agents who testified against two co-workers convicted of shooting a drug smuggler will be fired [and a third resigned] for changing their stories about events surrounding the shooting, ...
The agents were given immunity in exchange for their testimony despite changing their accounts of the incident several times. ...
“When you give deals to witnesses like immunity, the government usually gets the testimony (it wants),” said Rep. Ted Poe, R-Texas, a former judge and prosecutor. “This case is a perfect example.”
So, the suspect, after grappling with one of the officers and throwing dirt in his eyes [too much TV], fled the scene leaving his van with 800 lbs of skunk weed in it. As he fled, the officer[s] shot at him but he continued to flee, escaping.
His wounds were described thus;
a lateral wound to the left buttocks ...bullet fragments were found in Aldrete-Davila’s pelvis but not removed. The path of the bullet is clearly described as entering in the left side of the left buttocks, traversing the groin area, and lodging in the right thigh. ... records also indicate reconstructive surgery was performed on Aldrete-Davila the same day at the army hospital. Damage to the urethra required a catheter to be inserted
Now, I’m no Doc, but ‘t seems to me that this feller got shot in the dangly bits. Now, answer me this; if one is shot in the major man part, does one continue to flee?
Pamibe has done a great job boiling down the story from various and multiple outlets.
