flip flop
James Hansen ... leading Nasa [sic] scientist [stop giggling—I got a point here ....somewhere] said the whole approach to climate change was so deeply flawed that it would be better to start from scratch. [and that] it would be better for the future of the planet if next week’s Copenhagen climate summit ended in failure.
Oh, it would—failure of Civilization.
..."The whole approach is so fundamentally wrong that it is better to reassess the situation. If it is going to be the Kyoto-type thing then (people) will spend years trying to determine exactly what that means.”
Ok - anyone offering translations on that will be rewarded.
Dr Hansen said no political leader can grasp the importance of the issue.
Awww - don’t be silly. Grasping at clouds and making sense rationales out of bullshiite chaos is the hallmark of politicians.
“This is analogous to the issue of slavery faced by Abraham Lincoln or the issue of Nazism faced by Winston Churchill,” he said.
“On those kind of issues you cannot compromise. You can’t say let’s reduce slavery, let’s find a compromise and reduce it 50 per cent or reduce it 40 per cent.”
wha?
“All that stuff they are arguing about the [ East Anglia’s CRU] data doesn’t really change the analysis at all, but it does leave a very bad impression,” [Hansen] said.
No.... it doesn’t change the analysis, per se. Just invalidates the whole thing due to the fake “data” upon which it was based. That’s all…
Dr Hansen believes the data shows dealing with climate change allows no room for compromise.
So, Dr Hansen? Why haven’t you dug a nice, environmentally sound hole, climbed in and reduced your carbon footprint?
