There is a nuclear waste “trust fund” too. It is collecting a tax through your electric bill, if your utility has nuclear power. By stopping Yucca Mountain, Obama doesn’t have to spend any more trust fund money on it. The government owes itself about $20 billion via the trust fund.
But guess what? The tax remains and continues to be collected.
