Sarah Palin and her family haven’t done ANYthing wrong. What they have done to her and Bush is unforgiveable....and I hold a seething resentment for it.

The irony is that when people have real things to hide of which the public has a right to know, the MSM looks the other way. The only time they dig and probe and pry is when the facts are theirs to manufacture, modify or assign responsibility for.

A partial list of the MSM looking the other way: Conrad and Dodd got a 3% loan from Countrywide Mortgage; Obama’s birth certificate, the benefactors for his education, his relationship with Ayers and Wright; Conyer’s wife’s indictment on bribery charges; the sale of Obama’s senate seat; off-shore campaign donations to Obama to the tune of millions; ACORN, corruption and their ties to the Obama campaign; Larry Sinclair, OBama and cocaine; Rangel and his taxes; Michelle Obama’s show-up-and-get-paid job; persecution of global warming denying scientists and government employees; Al Gore’s 100-million dollar global warming profits; the real cost of the Obamas’ “date” night in NYC.... that was from stream of consciousness in about two minutes.

The Fourth Estate has become a politicized, willing Fifth Column! In my opinion, along with their objectivity they have also abrogated their protections as the “free press”. A pox on all of them, especially the WaPo and their “pay to play” scheme that was revealed yesterday!

The best description of Palin I have heard so far is that she is like that crazy ex-girlfriend.  When you first meet her everything is great, you think she is the one and everything about her is terrific.  Your friends try to point out odd things about her and why she probably isn’t the one but you continue to stick up for her.  The longer you are around her the more odd she becomes.  Other people say things about her that are mean and un-called for and you continue your defense and keep wanting to believe she is the most wonderful thing.

I have no ill will towards Governor Palin, but I still can’t get past her resigning before the end of her term.  In my mind, when you run for elective office, you have committed yourself to filling out your term of office.  To resign, is to fail to fulfill your contract with the citizenry. 

I now live in California where we have term limits on elective offices and it seems to me that no one very much shares my view.  If you make a deal, keep the deal.

Governor Palin has my sympathy for the way she and her family have been treated.  I very much share her work hard and have some fun attitude.  But, a deal’s a deal.
