I grew up in Bay City, and we considered anything north of Standish to be the Northern Michigan wilderness, almost ewepee in its foreign awe and mystery.

Except, you can’t be a hypocrite if you don’t have principles.  That’s the loophole the democrats sneak by on.  That’s why liberals regard hypocrisy as the worst sin, since they are ineligible.

Geezerette, Ya sure da nordern Minnesoda peoples talk a little funny, but on must know dat da Nordrn Visconsin peoples talk funny as well as da Yoopers. Dey all have certain characteristics in their speech patterns. To an outsider, dey all sound da sa,me, but da diffrent dialects can be discovered if youse live up here fer awhile. Nordern Minnesota are a bunch of Norskies and Swedes nostly. Nordern Visconsin are Norskies, Fnns and Packer lovers. Da YooPee peoples are da Yoopers fer sure. Dey all good peoples and all mostly work, hunt. fish and like beer. In late fall youse can find us in da deer camp, playing cards, havin a beer and of course the most important fart contest.
