todaze Lympian quote o the OMG

Why do they call it “Obamacare” when it was sponsored by Rep. Dingell?

There is a pretty good indicator of what this is all about. It has nothing to do with what is good for the American people, it is all about attacking Obama.

All of these little made up names and terminology are their “N” words.

Yesterday, I decided to call Rep. John Garamendi’s (CA-10) office in Washington, D.C. He’s my representative and I wanted to voice my opposition to the Senate Health Care Bill. I spoke with a female staffer and politely told her that, while I support health care reform, I oppose the Senate Bill because it wasn’t true “reform.” She said the Congressman thinks it’s a good bill and that he campaigned on health care reform. I told her I knew that. I also mentioned that I voted for him. When I tried to give her specific reasons why the Senate Bill would harm our system rather than reform it, she refused to listen. She said she was very busy and hung up on me. Being the persistent person that I am, I kept calling back. Each time I tried to finish my point, she hung up.

I called one more time. This time she said, “If you call one more time, we will notify Capital Police.” I asked why my conduct warranted involving federal law enforcement agents. She said I was “harassing” her. I tried to explain that trying to convince a representative to change his or her vote didn’t constitute “harassment.” Before I could fully explain, she hung up again.

I called back. This time, I asked to speak to her supervisor in order to report her repeated hanging up as well as the threat she made. I was placed on hold. Thinking I was holding for her supervisor, I was shocked when a Federal Agent with the Capital Police picked-up the telephone...............

Obamacare will create 12,500 new jobs!

image

The IRS will have lots to do to implement and enforce the new taxes and mandates included in the bill. In fact, the Senate Democrats’ bill references or amends the Internal Revenue Code 180 times.

Based on the current cost to employ this division’s workforce, an additional $1 billion per year would mean 12,500 new employees at the IRS. That’s more than 12,000 IRS employees that will be examining taxpayer records to enforce the government’s definition of “affordable” and “acceptable” insurance coverage, and working to comply with the bill to get people into government-run insurance.

How many Seattle City Light workers does it take to screw in a light bulb? People in parts of South and West Seattle are going to find out.
The utility is starting a pilot program Friday. They’re not only handing out compact fluorescent light bulbs, but they’re also offering to install them.
Seattle City Light hopes that by taking the extra step, more people will use the energy-saving light bulbs.

A top-of-the-range Daimler formerly owned by Queen Elizabeth II is up for sale, with unique features including a handbag holder and corgi-friendly fittings.

The Daimler Majestic V8 Jaguar, which the monarch used from 2001-2004, has only 14,000 miles on the clock and is on offer to the highest bidder.

“It’s a truly unique vehicle,” Peter Ratcliffe, a specialist dealer who bought the car from Jaguar, told The Independent newspaper.

“There is nothing else out there, or ever going to be out there, that you can buy and say this was the personal car of the Queen of England, specially built for her,” he added.

The car, used to drive the queen from her Buckingham Palace residence to her Windsor Castle estate, originally included secure telephone lines to Downing Street and the Home Office.

Uniquely royal features include a redesigned armrest to accommodate Queen Elizabeth’s handbag and a hidden panel of security lighting including blue flashing strobe lamps for use when the car was in a police convoy.

In addition Jaguar provided special covers for the magazine holders next to the seats, to prevent her pet corgis from slipping off the calf-skin seat covers and falling into them, The Independent reported.

Extra window switches were also provided for full air flow control. “She was very clear about her requirements. She had an extra switch installed on each of the rear doors to control the windows on the opposite side,” said Ratcliffe.

“Apparently she doesn’t like to have the wind blowing directly into her face,” he added…

So much for momentum from the CBO report this morning. President Obama has postponed his trip to Asia until June so he can work on health care reform and guide the bill toward a possible vote Sunday.

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said Thursday that Obama, who already postponed his trip to Indonesia and Australia once and was expected to leave Sunday, called up the leaders of those countries to inform them of the change in plans…

This “bill” (what a fallacy to even call it that) will get passed no matter what.

No.  Matter.  What.

Meaning that if half of the yes votes suddenly turn no, and the vote comes out with 75% voting against it, the Obamanation, Pelosi, and the others will openly violate the constitution and consider it passed anyway.
They will stop at nothing, they’ve stated that openly.

Of course all that is assinine.  So is the current congress.

the proper way to call these “rulers” is to be polite and straight to the point, explain to them that despite their views on the bill it is our choice that matters not theirs. they are not to decide if this is good for us, it is our choice. if they refuse to acknowledge that make it very clean that you will not simply vote for them next elections, they could care less about you not voting for them, make it clear that you will do everything in your power to find a politician to replace them and you will do everything in your power to get them removed from office, they fear that.
