Even if I saved 100% of my fuel costs, it would take me >15 years< to pay the extra price of the Volt over my current vehicle.  Oh and the battery is only estimated to work for 8 years (maximum, probably not that long in Florida heat) and will likely cost 1/3rd of the price of the car to replace.... (cant wait until everyone finds out what putting these batteries into landfills will do) Another Government TURKEY.
