Every time I just hear the word “empower” it immediately raises my hackles, and I’m not even sure exactly where my hackles are… it just raises them.

It goes along with “social”, “justice”, “progress”, “truth to power”, “reaching out to the community”, and any number of other bullshit weasel words and phrases. I can’t take it anymore.

It embiggens my cromulence.

Col Jerry, I wasn’t clear they were really sure exactly where the sniper was located.  There was a lot of spray and pray going on there. If they did know, the little 60 mm would be just the ticket, being a lot more accurate than the RPG and as you said, needing just a ‘peep’ sight instead of full exposure to put it on target.
