An anonymous phone call led police on Wednesday to the man they believe drove into an 87-year-old woman and then fled, leaving her critically injured.
Police arrested 32-year-old Patricio Gonzalez Guizar of Santa Ana at his workplace in Santa Fe Springs. He was booked on charges of felony hit and run, driving without a license and driving without insurance, Santa Ana police Cpl. Jose Gonzalez said.
Police also recovered a black Ford Bronco with damage to its front end, Gonzalez said. He did not know what kind of work Guizar was doing when he was arrested.
The 87-year-old woman was apparently taking her usual morning walk when she was hit Tuesday morning. Police found her at 15th and Parton streets at 5:20 a.m. after receiving reports of an elderly woman bleeding on the ground.
She was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
I suppose if this guy had the legal right to obtain a California state drivers license, he would’ve miraculously grown a conscience.
At least that’s what open-borders advocates want us to believe.
