One down, two to go...

Something tells me that Judge Michael Sauer was a tad bit perturbed this morning…
“LASD [Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department] directed to bring
D [defendant] to court!!”
“It’s like the OJ Verdict for white people.”
Nothing has been done to protect our children in New Mexico and if Bill Richardson is president I am sure he will continue support coyotes attacking kids in New Jersey, alligators killing children in Florida, mountain lions stalking and attacking children Arizona, not to mention wolves stalking children in every state they are soon to be released in. The difference will be that in these other states corrective action was taken to protect children, in New Mexico these dangerous habituated wolves are still out threatening people and howling in people’s front yards and wolves are even denning near homes.
Oh, so he’s pro-predator and anti-child?
If Bill Richardson is elected president or even vice president I am sure he will work to make your neighborhood save for dangerous predators. His statements, appointments to New Mexico Game and Fish, and actions make it clear that as the safety of our children is not important to him; dangerous habituated wolves are.
At first I thought this might have been a parody ala Scrappleface. Nope.
Now if these evil predators threatened children in the womb, it would be OK.

I received this from Mrs. Mofizix Gr4fix and she gave me permission to share......
Hi Sondra K,
I just wanted you to know that your good wishes for my husband’s recovery, your mentioning his hospitalization on your website, and the overwhelming response of those who commented, brought tears to his eyes. He honestly didn’t realize how much you all care for him. He always talks highly about you and JR and has since been telling me that our next dog is going to be a Welsh Corgi. He also tells me that one of the reasons he wants one is because they do a good job of destroying shoe collections - which he always complains that I have too many of in the first place. Please tell me that isn’t so.
Anyway, I’m going to bring **** “Mo” home from the hospital tomorrow (Friday) morning. He’s looking forward to getting out of there and not looking forward to all the catching up he has to do with his email and all. He might not be able to do too much though because the doctor told him he has to keep his leg elevated in order to keep the swelling down while he continues healing. However, If I know him, he’ll be figuring out some way of keeping his leg elevated while working on his computer.
You are a good friend and very kind and we both thank you from the bottom of our hearts. :-)
Sincerely,
*********** “The Wife”
I just thought you all would appreciate knowing how much you matter as much as I do. (appreciate! appreciate as much as I do....ack:)

After I dropped off the kids at day care this morning I saw a swarm of 8 to 10 police cars hauling serious ass toward downtown Buford. I saw one of the police cars zip through a busy intersection causing a wreck. I stopped and offered assistance to one of the victims who was very shaken but otherwise OK. The driver of the other vehicle in the wreck was rather hot under the collar about the whole situation.
Police spokesman Corporal Darren Moloney said the shooting occurred after an officer responded to a report at 7:15 am about a man threatening at least two people with a knife in downtown Buford.
Moloney says authorities do NOT know what the man’s motive was.
He says the officer spotted the suspect and the two became involved in a “physical confrontation.” He says the suspect jumped into the officer’s police car and drove about 200 yards before hitting a pickup truck.
Moloney said a second patrol car blocked the stolen police vehicle from behind, as officers ordered the man to get out of the car. Moloney said the suspect kept slamming the truck with the patrol car, and the officer fired.
Authorities have NOT released the name of the suspect.
Glad the cops snuffed the motherscratcher.
Mommy? Those people scare me.
“Natural Family, Marriage and Family values” [are] “hate speech” [and] could scare workers…

...just sayin’

Sarkozy’s John Kerry tree face imitation
The annual aerial show by the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels — a San Francisco tradition dating back to 1981 that pumps millions into the local economy — is running into opposition from three local peace advocacy groups that are calling for a permanent halt to the popular Fleet Week flyover.
CodePink, Global Exchange and Veterans for Peace, Chapter 69, are working with Supervisor Chris Daly on a Board of Supervisors resolution to address concerns over the Blue Angels.
Daly acknowledged he is considering a call to halt the flyovers because, he said, “they seem dangerous and unnecessary.” Daly said he plans on introducing the resolution as early as Tuesday, but is still drafting the language. A resolution is not legally binding, but states a board position.
The Blue Angels, a team of navy fighter pilots, fly over San Francisco during Fleet Week, which this year is scheduled for Oct. 4 through Oct. 9. For four of the six days, the flashy blue- and yellow-striped planes soar through the skies over the northern waterfront at speeds reaching 700 miles per hour, and perform such maneuvers as vertical rolls. As part of the show, six planes group together in tight formation to perform deft maneuvers.
The Blue Angels have 35 air shows scheduled in 2007 in various U.S. locations. Last year, more than 15 million people watched the fighter pilots. (Watch a short video of the 2006 air show in San Francisco.)
Veterans for Peace takes issue with the pro-military message and the recruiting efforts that come along with the annual visit as well as what it refers to as the “noise pollution.” The group calls the event a public safety risk, pointing to the April crash of a Blue Angels plane during an air show in Beaufort, S.C.
I am having some evil thoughts about SanFrancisco right now and I imagine a few of you too as well.
Oh, the irony..............

Reverend Al Sharpton, President of National Action Network, and one of the country’s foremost leaders for civil rights, is blasting the justice system for what appears to be favoritism in the early release of Paris Hilton.
![]()
“Though I have nothing but empathy for Ms. Hilton whom I have met and appeared with on Saturday Night Live the night I hosted in 2003, this early release gives all of the appearances of economic and racial favoritism that is constantly cited by poor people and people of color. There are any number of cases of people who handle being incarcerated badly and even have health conditions that are not released.I have served several sentences for civil rights and civil disobedience actions and I even fasted which caused health concerns to prison authorities who paid for a doctor to come see me daily rather than release me.
please answer in the form of a question
Answer: “a Tennessee lawyer with brass balls”

Thanks!

After 51 years as mayor of Rosemont, Donald Stephens assumed something akin to deity-like status for many people in the northwest suburb.
Now, even after his death, perhaps it continues.
Eerily, a likeness of the late mayor’s face has appeared on a tree outside the village-owned health club, according to some people who have seen it. In a town still grieving for the larger-than-life mayor, who died April 18, the mysterious image is sure to add to the Stephens mystique.
Doug DuBrock, executive director of the health club, has worked there for years but never noticed anything remarkable about the tree until recently, when workers pointed out “the face.”
“It’s all in the eye of the beholder,” he said. “If you want to look hard enough at something and that helps you, then so be it.”
Cathy Sansone, membership director, said members were the first to spot the image.
“They said, ‘Doesn’t it kind of look like somebody?’ “ she said. “Everybody started coming out and looking at it and taking pictures with their phones.”
Sansone admitted she could make out the image only after it was pointed out to her.
“Power of suggestion,” she said.
Or, it could just be another Leprechaun…
So there’s a “disable” option for the SnapShots deallio...it’s on the upper right hand side of the pop up under the “options” tab.
I did it for a test and it works.
‘cept now *I* can’t use it anymore because I’ve disabled it so it don’t pop up for me to re-able.
I can’t win.

Screw it for now. I’ve removed the code....I still couldn’t get the thing to re-show for me and now my head hurts.
I’ll sleep on it and see what I feel like in the morning.
