Did you read the comments? If you just read them and not the actual article, you would think that the state security apparatus picked these people up, beat them for three or four days and threw them into some some Central American cárcel.

Someone in their comments pointed out that people have been arrested for shouting insults, “you suck” at the Clintons.
reality is that its easier to protect the president when the protesters are kept out of sight. What better place for an assassin to hide? Do you think a group from the dailyLosersKOS would lift a finger if a person was in their midst assembling an assault weapon? Even the anti gunners from that wacko group would help him.

As a kid, growing up, I remember my first noticeable awareness of the political process.  The “first” thing I remember:  Somebody was *giving* pint bottles of whiskey away!  The campaigner was getting lots of cheers and everyone was jolly....[ Ike versus Truman].
