Wait a minute, if I only take one handgun, I am more heavily armed than all of San Francisco.

Here is a lter I have received from the democratic side, the names etc. have been changed to protect someone, maybe that someone is you!

Sir:  I am curious to know why you sent me a letter advising me not to sell my home in Town,XX, USA and to turn off my TV.  You also advice me to stay put.  That we are a
rich country and we will fix what needs to be fixed.  I have 2 words for you: BULL SHIT.  After working 32 years I became disabled.  It took me 4 years and all of my
savings and retirement to receive Social Security Disability.  Despite the fact that SS doctors told them I was disabled multiple times.  When my money ran out and I
could no longer afford health insurance, I applied (after much crying) Medicaid.  I didn’t qualify; because I owned a car worth more the $2,300 dollars.  Mind you Medicaid
will pay you to take a taxi to your doctor appointments.  I now receive $880.00 a month in disability after the Medicare premium.  On that whopping $880.00 I do not qualify
for any public assistance.  That means if I were homeless, I still would not be eligible for food stamps, section 8 housing, welfare or Medicaid.  Try living in Fairfax County,
XX State on that amount. 

As for turning off my TV set.  I read several newspapers a day online including the Washington Post, LA Times and the New York Times.  I tend to watch the news on PBS
and also the BBC.  I adamantly oppose the war in Iraq and have since the beginning; but also believe in the invading of Afghanistan where the worst human rights violations
against women were being perpetrated.  The United States is responsible for these horrific violations, as we armed and trained the Muhujeeden at a cost of 3 billion dollars
to fight the Russians.  The Muhujeeden later became the Taliban.  We needed to right that egregious wrong.  As for Iraq, why didn’t we invade when Hussein gassed the
Kurds?  As far as I’m concerned George W. must have a very tiny member and Iraq was his way of proving otherwise.  And how come we never hear about the number of
Iraqis killed?  The Bush administration has been very good at controlling the news media.  We never see any wounded or killed, not like the media that covered the
Vietnam war.

Enough of my pontificating.  I do not know why I have carried your letter around or why I am replying to it now.

I suppose that all very much depends upon what the meaning of we is.  For example, I neither deserved nor tolerated Slick Willy.  The US would have been better off had he been ground up for hog feed in the late 80s.  He is a crook, a posturer, an opportunist, and a pathological liar.

George Bush is neither the wisest man nor the most qualified man for the Oval Office.  He is, however, by several powers of 10, preferable to the alternatives of the totally insane Gore and the completely unnecessary Querrie.
