I can’t imagine anything more important for a film that portrays the events of Sept 11 2001 than to be catchy, hip and to have an upbeat soundtrack. Truth? Ah, who gives a shit? I agree with Sondra about September 11th.  I watched Flight 93 on tv awhile back.  By the time it was over I was really pissed about what happened that day.  Again.  I was back to wanting a nuke dropped to turn the entire region into a glass parking lot.

They are shallow end people no question. But for everything like this that happens you find people like this. The same conspiracy shit goes on about Waco and Oklahoma City. The Lincoln assasination and even the Kennedy assasination. I am serious when I say there are people saying Bush 41 killed JFK.

I’m in northwest Indiana about 35 miles from downtown Chicago. The Christians I run into that are conspiracy nuts are online, I havent met one in person just yet, though I think a good friend/coworker might be drifting that way a bit :( but not so far as to claim the government did it, i hope.

What bothers me most about that “movie” is that I personally know people - relatives of mine, whom I thought ought to know better - who quote it as if it were the Gospel truth. It’s extremely annoying. One relative in particular seems to be on a personal crusade (or jihad, as he’s Muslim) to convince everyone around him that:
1. Everyone must see the “movie,” and
2. The “movie” proves Muslims were not involved in 9/11 but, rather, the Government was.

In a sense, I can understand why he would be so devoted. It makes non-radical Muslims quite uncomfortable to confront the possibility that fellow Muslims carried out this atrocity. As it is, most Muslims believe Muslims did not do it: it was the US government or Israel or Zionists or something. They refuse to believe that Muslims did it, which explains why they are so upset with US campaigns against Muslim states. They use this “movie” to confirm their cognitive dissonance.

It really angers me, nevertheless. But there’s nothing I can say or do.

If these muslim idiots believe that they have really given them self up to evil and are just as bad as the shit eaters that flew the planes into the building. Anyone that believes that and help spread that cowardly lie would be no friend of mine.

Problem with these conspiracy theories is that the “perps” owned up and are proud of it.
