Current entry: black market firearm dealers have new legal requirements
Previous entry: song for a Saturday morning

Most all the firearms dealers are here in Placer County-30 minutes via freeway from Sacatamatas.  Our neighbors own a small shop a block from me, they are adding on.

[Flips through ordinance looking for stepped-up enforcement of existing laws or increased penalties for theft of firearms or illegal posession thereof, or expansion of capital punishment for homicides.]

California legal philosophy: Just dooooo something!

How to disarm the peasants.
Step 1:
Blame law-abiding citizens for the posession of illegal weapons by criminals. Use this as justification to…
Step 2:
Find out who has firearms.
Step 3:
Build law-violation traps.
Step 4:
Make the tiniest mistake and even innocent usage or unrelated issues justification to deny ownership.
Step 5:
Take a few guns, one at a time, then claim precedent.
Step 6:
Crank-up the propaganda machine.
If that’s insufficient…
insert wedge between hunters and self-defense gun owners,
rinse, repeat.

Time for gun manufacturers to refuse to sell to these municipalities and States’ law-enforcement organizations.

Ron Barrett vs LAPD

Barrett struck back..the rest of the manufacturers should follow suit.

Wouldn’t it be easier if the cities just put up “Crime Free Zone” signs?

nocrime.jpg

It works so well here in Palm Beach county… but then again they just recount all the criminal offenses until there is no crime.

DougM & Bohica, yeah and Barrett did it with attitude. Then developed the .416 Barrett to get around their laws. Gotta love it.

Doug is exactly right. Make gun owners the villains, then confiscation goes down all right for all the nice little non-gun owners.

Sorry, but as I count it, this is reason number 5,893 for California to slide off into the Pacific.

Some of U Californication KisPers can stay with me while we find you gainful employment and a nice house in the hills.  $36K will get you about 6 acres will a beautiful view.

So far this year, there have been 17 gun-related homicides within the city and 36 countywide.

O’ course, we’re also hearing calls for tougher sentences and even capital punishment for convicted murderers, right?  And more police?  And a more aggressive police presence?

(crickets chirping)

Yeah, that’s about what I thought.  Why is it that liberals never think that CRIMINALS are the cause of crime?

BTW, what if you order ammo over the net (as I do)?

Trooper John Smith: Post-Curmudgeon

The best thing I can think of to make your state or municipality ‘gun friendly’ is to open your doors to a hundred-thousand plus people from New Orleans, several thousand of whom are criminals of the worst kind. Hundreds of those parolees, bail jumpers, child molesters and other assorted recidivists unaccounted for since Katrina are walking the streets of Houston and the surrounding areas.

A good friend who is a Concealed Carry instructor says that he can’t train ‘em fast enough. I personally know two persons who have been robbed (one was also assaulted) by some of our ‘guests’.

What was that my Granny always said? “No good deed goes unpunished!”

Troop, that only works in certain areas.  Other areas they just get tougher on the law abiding citizens.
