BTW: Here’s what a “Presidential Kill-switch” looks like in action
Link

22:34 UTC (00:34am local time), Renesys observed the virtually simultaneous withdrawal of all routes to Egyptian networks in the Internet’s global routing table. Approximately 3,500 individual BGP routes were withdrawn, leaving no valid paths by which the rest of the world could continue to exchange Internet traffic with Egypt’s service providers. Virtually all of Egypt’s Internet addresses are now unreachable, worldwide.

Yeah, this has “Jimmah & Iran” written all over it!

Yeah, this all reminds me very much of Iran. Some are trying to say that Wikileaks spurred these protests. Bullshit. This is a coordinated attempt to overthrow moderate Arab states and create moslem theocracies, thus bringing them a step closer to a pan-Arab caliphate.

It’s hard to track the money, and nearly as hard to figure out their organizational hierarchy. The only thing I’m fairly sure of is that we paid for it with oil dollars.

Be a real shame if those downed routings failed to come back online when ordered, now, wouldn’t it?

I say we invade their countries, kill their leaders, and convert them to Christianity.

It’s the only way to be sure.

Anticipate another instance of Islamic-style democracy.

One man.  One vote.  One time.

He talks about the “Crusades” like it was a bad thing.

comment by Holger  on  01/28  at  03:29 PM

Yeah, I am fed up to here listening to these historically illiterate chickenshit Muzzies and their butt licking syncophants whine about the frickin’ Crusades.

For one thing, the US did not participate.  Now, I realize that some might think so, given that former President Clinton apologized for them, but shit, he apologizes for everything.  He can’t help himself.

Well, unless we’re talking about women, in which case he does help himself.

Second, the Crusades were a defensive war, sparked by Islamic invasion of formerly Christian lands.

And third, the goat humping Sons of the Prophet won.  Damn it, I never heard so much bitching from the winners.  Oh, wait, there are our own Dems, who are also bad winners.  But the Moose Limbs have been pissing and moaning about winning the damn Crusades for, what? Eight, nine centuries now?  Can’t they be more like Barky, just say “I won.  Neener neener neeeener.  Screw you.” and be done with it?

Our President is urging their government not to use force on peaceful demonstrators--- they look peaceful to me don’t they---?  They have a right to demonstrate---

If the Islamists take over, expect the cost of supplying our troops to go way up, since we won’t be able to use the Suez Canal.

Heck, the costs of anything that normally transits the Suez will go up.  If the Islamists seize it and shut it down for only a couple of weeks in a snit, expect food and oil prices to skyrocket.

Mubarak is not America’s friend.
Mubarak is Mubarak’s friend.
Mubarak is just a little less of total friggin’ uncooperative barbarian than some others in the Middle East.
He runs a corrupt, despotic (i.e. Arab) government.
He ... his country ... uhm ... is a lot like Chicago, actually.

Nukes.
I predict nukes will be used in the Middle East within a few years, and not by us.

So in other words this has been a ticking time bomb-- or nuke-- for how many years?  What could have been done about it?  This country has supported anyone who was anti communist and now anyone who is not Islam?  Hillary and Biden and Ione have been there how many times?  Now he’s the bad guy?  He’s been in power for 30 years?  By the way if that isn’t a good example for this country to have term limits nothing is-- I’m too literal and black and white (not that kind) to understand all of this--- I’m always looking for what is really behind it all-- getting so I don’t trust anyone--- I have a very bad feeling about all of this--

Seymour Butts Hersh - very apropos. He has so many unnamed sources and secret documents cited in his screeds, he must have passports and Code Word security clearance with at least fifteen countries.

Yeah, no need to be afraid of the Muslim Brotherhood, it’s not like they explicitly want to take over Western nations and force you to convert or die.

Wait, what?
