The new whatever-it-is-called will, I am sure, mimic the IPCC in studying only human influences. At least the IPCC can point to its founding documents, which say that is all it is supposed to do - which is why it mentions other things, like Solar cycles, only to say they are not as important to the IPCC.

Somewhere else (no, I don’t have the link) some climate guy (I think from the UK MET) says the IPCC never made a prediction at all, merely conveyed a Reader’s Digest version of the data. Huh? No predictions? No “adjustments” but only data? No warnings of increased hurricane/typhoon/etc storms? No… well, on and on…

Another totally useless gubbmint bureaucracy that will cost the taxpayers tens of millions of dollars a year to put out a bunch of Fat Albert type propaganda.

Kinda like the ice age alarmists back in the 70’s!
The assumption or justification for this bureaucratic BS is that we can’t figure out the situation for ourselves and need the gubbmint to tell us!
