The ruling junta of Myanmar has created a whole new facet of psychology, known as Burmanoia:  the unreasonable fear that other nations are plotting to make conditions in your country less miserable.

This is what the Democrat party would have in America if unimpeded.

Tyranny seems to always need to reduce the population.  They’ll let the people starve and feel good about it.

Sorry to say, we should stop wringing our hands.  The government is savage and we can’t help the people with it in control.

Too bad.  Just too bad.

However, given the way this military junta rules the country, why should a reasonable and compassionate response make sense.
