‘cause mama sold her breast milk to a bunch of hippies

Pupils up to the age of 11 are being bottle-fed and mothered in school as part of a radical new move to address poor discipline.

A state primary school has become the first in the country to take part in the approach, which was developed in the US to give problem children the love and attention they may have missed out on at a younger age.

Instead of being given a sharp telling off or a few minutes on the naughty chair, they have one on one sessions with a trained school therapist.

The children - aged between six and 11 - are bottle-fed like young babies, nursed and encouraged to play games promoting patience and teamwork.

Parents who feel they no longer have control over their child can sign up to the Theraplay programme, which lasts up to three years and emphasises the importance of a strong and loving bond with a mother figure.

The controversial approach - developed during the late 1960s - has now been adopted by Rockingham Primary School in Northamptonshire.

Call me old fashioned but mothering a child isn’t exactly radical WHEN YOU DO IT WHEN YOU SHOULD IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Don’t forget spawn of the same bill that gave us Energy, the Synfuels Corporation, which spent billions and never made the first gallon of commercially available fuel. Thank goodness that had a sunset provision.
That never go away syndrome is one of the things that scares me about this healthcare obscenity; even if we have a voters’ revolution that rescinds most of the bill and throws the bastards out, an enormous bureaucracy will sit there like Jabba the Hut, consuming vast quantities of money and spewing out meaningless regs and studies to justify more budget and employees.
EPA and OSHA served a useful purpose once upon a time, but now chase diminishing benefits with ever more expensive rules, and their budgets grow and grow.

I had two roommates that worked for the civilian side of the navy Dept, and they quickly caught on and explained a budget cut in their organizations:
Plan 1. Their org chart showed 100 postions, of which 85 were filled. Budget cut equals not filling the 15 empty slots.
Plan 2. Org chart shows 100 positions, 85 filled, director asked for 25 more positions for next year.  Told to cut budget 15%, he asks for 6 new slots for a total of 106.
Plan 3. Org chart has 100 positions, 85 filled. Budget cut is 25%, so ten people are moved to another department at same GS grade.

That’s budget cutting, DC style.

Cut them way back, abolish Energy and Education, abolish H&HS;, give nuke security back to Defense, and while we’re at it, let’s stop the PC crap first off by calling “Department of Defense” the “War Department” again.

If Holder does nothing in the face of increasingly obvious evidence, then perhaps we can rightly claim that this administration is itself a criminal enterprise.

When it comes to ratings success, madcow and overthehillking are sucking hind tit. And Hannity finally beat O’Reilly?!?!?!?!? Wow. And I have gotten to the point where I watch Hannity more than O’Reilly. It is nothing against Bill O’Reilly but I just like Sean Hannity more. I once made a blowgun in the back of 7th grade science class out of a piece of long, thin glass tubing and a straight-pin --- because there was a substitute teacher that day who wasn’t noticing --- and with my very first silent-but-deadly test shot I nailed a huge wasp who had been buzzing against the window shade, right to that window shade. I swear to God (and that’s not in vain in this case).

With my second shot, I nailed Donald Ludwig, waaay at the front of the class, right in the back, and he immediately jumped-up, clutching at his back, screaming, “OWOW OW OW OW!” or something like that. This was in a previously silent room, as we were all supposed to be reading something.  Or something.

So the substitute teacher, thinking that Donald Ludwig was some kind of insane spastic clown, started yelling at him, and kicked him out of class and sent him down to the Principal’s office. Then the bell rang, and I got away scot-free.

I know I’ll never top that one. Why even try?

Rosebud…

P.S. I sure hope Donald Ludwig isn’t reading this.
