Bravo!

With 41 percent of the votes, Madeline Edwards received the most votes in the “Living Room … Live!” kids edition. The 11-year-old from Goldsboro, N.C. [TUA’s hometown], began singing around the house at 3 and was just 4 when she first started singing opera.

In an appearance on The Early Show, Madeline said she learned that she was the viewers’ choice when she was at school surrounded by her friends.

“We were watching it on the TV in — the class and I,” she told host of the Web show, Adam Kontras of Adam and the Egos. “We were so nervous when we saw it. Then we all started screaming.”

Now she said she is something of a celebrity at school.

“I mean, lots of people who have never really talked to me before started talking to me,” she said. “They know who I am now.”

Madeline, who sings in English, French, German, Italian and Latin, said she can identify with the emotion in the songs despite the language barrier.

“Sometimes, particularly with the Italian songs, I’ll learn about the song and what it’s about,” she said. “The song I entered for the contest, it’s from an opera by Puccini and it’s a very sad song. The girl, she’s crying. She — her father won’t let her marry this man and she’s very sad.”

Madeline was inspired by British opera singer Charlotte Church and practices her performances with her grandmother, a retired music teacher who Madeline says has helped craft her burgeoning career in music.

Edwards performed “Chacun le sait” from the opera “La Fille du Regiment.” She was accompanied on the piano by Steven Crawford, conductor of the Metropolitan Opera.

Congratulations, Madeline!

MCPO Airdale proposes the perfect question to ask any anti gun or “non-violent” liberal progressive socialist. it’s fine if you the liberal progressive socialist doesn’t believe in violence or killing someone. but ask them if they trust that an intruder or assailant will hold the same ideas. i’m sure they will explain that they could “negotiate” a peaceful resolution to the “conflict”.  brahahahahahhahahahahahahah

hehehehehehehehehehehehhe

hahahahahahaah

sorry it’s just so ridiculous because i’ve actually heard that answer from a lefty before.

even worse remember that “teacher” a few weeks ago that wrote in that editorial to a paper where he said he would rather his child die in a violent confrontation than to pick up a gun to defend them and stoop to such a morally inferior level to demonstrate his lefty morally superior agenda..

In other news, two Britons were sentenced by a Dubai court to a month in prison for trespassing on a nuclear facility.

Just kidding. They were caught kissing in public.

funny how this ignorant lympian reads what they want to see and not what is actually pronted, because no place does it say in the bible thou shall not kill, unless it is a rewritten politicized version of the bible. the bible i have(even though i’m pretty much an atheist conservative but i still appreciate the moral values taught in the bible) reads thou shall not commit murder because it was directly translated from the hebrew scrolls. there is a distinct difference between killing and committing murder. occasionally i wish we have a few blog trolls like moonbattery has to argue pathetically that there is no difference between the two, so they could lose that debate.

The actual commandment is “Thou shall not murder” if properly translated from Hebrew. There’s a huge difference between killing and murdering. Sometimes its necessary to kill.  Murder, not so much.
