BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
TUA (who actually prophesized this in comments!!!)
Here’s-something-I-betcha-didn’t-think-of (and probably wish it wasn’t pointed out).
I made this inference over a week ago, but now it’s even scarier.

How horrible the images from the Land of N.O. - of the poor and the suffering.
How horrible.
Even worse tho - is all the finger-pointing…
President Bush, you, me and every conservative white person need to accept responsibility
for all the death and suffering heaped upon the poor citizens of the Land of N.O.
We need to quit trying to blame others for our own ineptitude and criminal negligence.Yes - How Horrible we are -
How horrible of us facist nazis to point out that the President had to call Gov Blanco
and urge her and the Mayor of N.O. to order the mandatory evacuation of N.O.How horrible of us white pigs to point out that the Mayor of N.O. and Gov Blanco finally
ordered the mandatory evacuation of N.O. less than 20-hours before Katrina made
landfall when they could have issued the order 36-48 hours before Katrina hit…How horrible of us white racists to ask why the Mayor of N.O. did not follow the city
of N.O.’s own emergency evacuation procedures. How horrible of us honkies to ask why the Mayor of N.O. didnt use those 200+ school
and city buses to evacuate the poor and disabled. How horrible of us crackers to ask why the Mayor of N.O. and the Police of N.O. provided no
security at the Superdome and the Convention Center. How Horrible of us whiteys to point out that N.O. had a similar superdome and convention
center fiasco back in 1998 during hurricane Georges - but the Mayor of N.O. didn’t do anything
to ensure the same thing wouldn’t happen again this time. How horrible of us skinheads to ask why the N.O. Police chief told most of his force to stay home
the night Katrina made landfall in order to save money - instead of ensuring security at the superdome
and conventon center. How Horrible of us white biggots to point out that taking a 50-inch flat screen TV is not survival - it’s looting.
How Horrible of us white racist maggots to ask why the Mayor of N.O. and his administration
fled to Baton Rouge before Katrina hit instead of staying in N.O. with their fellow citizens. How horrible of us white conservative racist homophobes to point out that Gov Blanco made her
fellow citizens suffer an extra 24-hours so she could “decipher a complicated document” that would
have allowed the federal govt to immediately begin helping with relief efforts. How horrible of us rednecks to point out that Gov Blanco didnt request aid from the federal
govt till thursday - four full days after Katrina made landfall…How horrible of us beer-drinkin bubbas to point out that “all the riotin and alla the killins
at the sooperdome BEGAN Sunday nite - durin the hurricane - (when the sooperdome done lost power)
and not sev-ral days later - after no help been arrived.”How horrible of us gun-totin’ bubbas to point out that “shootin at yore rescuers -
is jus dead wrong and will only delay yore rescue and the rescue of alla t’others...”How horrible of us white racists not to accept responsibility for this tragedy - for the
raping of women and children in the superdome and convention center; for the killing and
the maiming of the poor citizens of N.O.Yes - how horrible that the citizens of New Orleans had:
NO Mayor
NO Police
NO Governor (hmmm - sorry - sounding alot like a capital one commercial)How horrible of the news cameras to show all those white racist pigs rescuing and helping
all the poor black citizens of N.O.Yes - how HORRIBLE - that the left can never seem to think clearly and logically.
How Horrible that the liberals and can never seem to see or recognize anything beyond
their own self-agrandizement, and their party’s political aspirations. How horrible that so many poor and ignorant fall for the liberal B.S.
Even more horrible- that so many wealthy and educated (yet still ignorant) fall for the same liberal B.S.All kidding aside -
How horrible that the incompetence of the Mayor of N.O. and Gov Blanco caused the deaths
and suffering of tens of thousands.Nobody seems to notice that Mississippi and Alabama - states that were hit far worse than N.O. -
only get a passing mention on the news channels.
Why ?
Because their Govt officials were competent individuals - not left-wing incompetent imbeciles. The dead - the dying and the maimed and the suffering of N.O. cry out for justice…
Do the liberals want true justice for the incompetence of their own ?
Not a chance.
The liberals would rather - scream, yell and cry foul - all for their own political gain.
Yes - How horrible. But this should not surprise anyone with at least two functioning brain cells.

Iraqi President Jalal Talabani urged the United States on Friday not to withdraw hastily from Iraq and said U.S. forces should be reduced gradually over the next two years.
“For those who call for an immediate pull-out of American troops, we say that we honor the sacrifices the United States has made,” Talabani said in a speech at a Washington hotel.“A withdrawal of American and multinational forces in the near future could lead to the victory of the terrorists in Iraq and create grave threats to the region,” he added.
Asked how long he would like U.S. and other forces to stay in Iraq, Talabani said the plan was to gradually reduce U.S. forces over the next two years.
“Not only would we need American forces to fight against terrorism, we need some of them to frighten our neighbors and prevent them from interfering in our internal affairs,” he said.
Talabani complained of interference from Syria and “terrorists” infiltrating Iraq. He also blamed the Arab media “without exception” for supporting terrorism.
I wonder what Mother Sheehan has to say about this?
Who?
“You feel destroyed because you’re left with nothing and have to start all over again,” said Zamora, 40, who arrived in New Orleans three years ago to work odd jobs.
So why should they get anything from the government? They don’t belong here. One of my personal maxims in life is: If you’re somewhere you shouldn’t be, and/or doing something you shouldn’t be doing, and something bad happens to you; too bad.
The illegal immigrants are just that; illegal. If they immigrated legally, that would be a whole different situation.
*stomp*stomp*stomp*

Do you always try to relate large-scale tragedies to your own life?
-Do you say things like, “Wow, I was just in New Orleans.”
GO! Everything’s excerptable! haaaaaaaaaaaaaa
***Judging by the 307 comments so far, I do believe he’s touched a nerve?
*ouch*

This morning on Fox’s “Fox and Friends,” former Indiana Democrat congressman and 9/11 commissioner Tim Roemer [D] called on President Bush to name former President Jimmy Carter to the head of efforts to rebuild New Orleans.
Roemer told the stunned hosts: “The second thing we should do is put somebody like former President Jimmy Carter in charge of rebuilding New Orleans.”
At least, when Carter was President, the volleyball courts ran on time.
Update: Word has it that a group representing possible Socialist political candidates world-wide are flying into Georgia to talk Jimmah out of even considering limiting his very useful “election approving” functions.
“Are you all happy to go home?” the Customs agent yelled. A few troops replied with a halfhearted “hoo-ah,” the Army’s standard rallying cry. The agent tried again, louder, and failed to raise enthusiasm.
“I’m going to be in your place in 21/2 months and I’m going to be going nuts,” he admonished the Guardsmen.
Later, when informed that he was addressing troops from New Orleans, the customs agent apologized, Partin said.
“How good it will feel to get back to the crib after 11 months of disaster in Iraq?” Alston shouted, then asking a passing flight attendant for vodka and cranberry juice. The flight attendant declined, citing the soldiers’ M-16 rifles at their feet. “We can’t have drinks because we got guns? Hell, we ain’t got no magazines,” Alston shouted.
sigh
Klansman, Robert Byrd, was Senate majority leader for ten years. They had a segregationist as their vice presidential nominee in 1952. I mean, folks, you have a circumstance here where everything is 180 degrees out of phase when it comes to race. Look at New Orleans. Who’s been in charge of running New Orleans? Liberal Democrats. Some of the mayors down there have been black. The majority of the residents are black. You could simply say the black mayor doesn’t care about his own citizens. Could you say that? I mean, it’s apparent, isn’t it? Am I racist for pointing this out? How can there be racism in New Orleans when 80% of the population, 75%, whatever, is black? This is just crazy. But if the Republicans aren’t going to stand up and just throw this stuff right back at them, then, you know, how much of it is going to continue to settle in? This stuff has settled in, become just conventional wisdom for 30 or 40 years. Somehow, Republicans are racist and Democrats love everybody. Yet when you listen to a Democrat talk, what’s the first thing they notice about people? It’s their skin color, their religion, their gender.
This is your copy and paste of the day.

What say you?
Officials in Louisiana agree that the governor would not have given up control over National Guard troops in her state as would have been required to send large numbers of active-duty soldiers into the area. But they also say they were desperate and would have welcomed assistance by active-duty soldiers.
“I need everything you have got,” Ms. Blanco said she told Mr. Bush last Monday, after the storm hit.
In an interview, she acknowledged that she did not specify what sorts of soldiers. “Nobody told me that I had to request that,” Ms. Blanco said. “I thought that I had requested everything they had. We were living in a war zone by then.”
By Wednesday, she had asked for 40,000 soldiers.
Over the past 10 days I’ve been hit hard by both the left AND the right!
Well, Bill… Perhaps it’s because you’re a pompous jackass.
Cute little scamp, ain’t he? We can’t wait to bring him home!
The passport thing is really not that big of a deal after all, we’re just going to go through the whole application process again and pay the $60 to have them expedited.
I’m one happy dude dad!
Hugh Hewitt: Mark, before we get to the specifics that I’m talking about, the media’s meltdown, it seems to me that a lot of facts have come to light. What’s your judgment of what went wrong last week in New Orleans?
Mark Steyn: Well, I think the question of what went wrong is a very simple one. It actually has a failed local and state government. And when you’re in that situation, there’s a limit to what the national government can do, particularly when you’re talking about a national government that has to basically span a continent. You know, DeTocqueville understood this in 1840, when he published Democracy in America. He said a nation can establish a free government, but without municipal institutions, it cannot have the spirit of liberty. And that’s the point. That’s what we saw on September 11th, that it was in the Mayor and the police and the fire departments, and the other municipal institutions in New York, that you saw the spirit of liberty, and you measured the health of that society. And that’s what has failed with this guy who’s the mayor of New Orleans, and with this governor of Louisiana, and this hysterical meltdown by Senator Landrieu of Louisiana.
