JR’s good pal at work told him that it is literally impossible for him to find a source of primer for re-loading.....kinda scares the crap out of me.
Is this true as far as you all know? If not, care to share your source with me? If you’re afraid of a stampede you can even e-mail it to me........
Oh, and while we’re on the subject, want:
1927 A-1 Deluxe SBR Model T1SB
Kind of solves my dilemma about a rifle and a .45.........what do you think? At least until I shoot for the XD.
About 16 percent of Americans between the ages of 14 and 49 are infected with genital herpes, making it one of the most common sexually transmitted diseases, U.S. health officials said on Tuesday.
Black women had the highest rate of infection at 48 percent and women were nearly twice likely as men to be infected, according to an analysis by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
About 21 percent of women were infected with genital herpes, compared to only 11.5 percent of men, while 39 percent of blacks were infected compared to about 12 percent for whites, the CDC said.
Obviously, herpes is RAAAAAACIST.
Sarah Palin: child hypocrite
Sarah Palin, champion of independence, was *ghasp* wholly dependent on her mother as a child...and personally orchestrated her family’s health care at age six.........
Don’t pick that up! Ya never know where it’s been...
NB to GB:
Eric Massa was one of 39 House Democrats who voted against health care reform. A third of those Democrats were, like Massa, newly elected. All but one of them was, like Massa, from districts that voted for John McCain. A good chunk of them were, like Massa, in districts which had recently elected Republicans. ...
Put another way, he won the seat by the skin of his teeth and if he didn’t mind his P’s and Q’s, he would lose it.
So he was expected to vote against health care. His constituents didn’t want it, and he had to oppose it. That was understood by all, including the Democratic leadership of the House.
...The claim that Massa is being taken down for voting against health care, while others who did the same thing are being treated kindly and even rewarded, is preposterous.
It is an illogical and unbelievable lie.
So, while the Rahm/shower story was ...titilating, this fella is still a socialist fruit loop who voted “no” because the HellCare bill didn’t go far enough. Seems like a helpful guy, though…

but with KisPer spirit nonetheless
Rifleman James McKie from Recce Platoon, 3rd Battalion The Rifles was under fire from three directions on a roof when the grenade hit his platoon commander and landed at his feet.
“My first thought was I hope this doesn’t hurt too much,” the New Zealander said. “That, and I’ve really only got one chance to do this.
“If it fails, either way, doing nothing, I’m going to get the same amount of hurt. So I picked it up and threw it off the roof.”.......

“I tried to throw it properly, to clear the roof. I didn’t want to do it half-arsed and have them throw it back at us or anything like that....

Police in Ireland on Tuesday arrested seven people over an alleged plot to kill a Swedish cartoonist who depicted the Prophet Muhammad with the body of a dog.
Irish police said four men and three women were detained in raids across the south of the country.
The force says the arrests were part of an investigation into a “conspiracy to murder an individual in another jurisdiction.”
The force offered the statement in response to a question about Lars Vilks, whom Britain’s Press Association news agency identified as the target.
Police said the suspects were aged from their mid-20s to their late 40s. It did not identify their nationality…
definitely Scottish honkey beaner pedestrians...
Another weapon in the arsenal against cancer: Nanoparticles that identify, target and kill specific cancer cells while leaving healthy cells alone.
Led by Carl Batt, the Liberty Hyde Bailey Professor of Food Science, the researchers synthesized nanoparticles – shaped something like a dumbbell – made of gold sandwiched between two pieces of iron oxide. They then attached antibodies, which target a molecule found only in colorectal cancer cells, to the particles. Once bound, the nanoparticles are engulfed by the cancer cells.
To kill the cells, the researchers use a near-infrared laser, which is a wavelength that doesn’t harm normal tissue at the levels used, but the radiation is absorbed by the gold in the nanoparticles. This causes the cancer cells to heat up and die.
In other words, this is basically the oncological equivalent of Bugs Bunny tricking a bull into swallowing a hand grenade.
Chef Daniel Angerer is letting diners at Klee Brasserie munch on cheese made from his wife’s breast milk.
[...]
After blogging about his efforts with the human cheese, customers started demanding a sample, he said.“The phone was ringing off the hook,” the chef said. “So I prepared a little canapé of breast-milk cheese with figs and Hungarian pepper.”
[...]
“Some people who clearly have issues have . . . e-mailed me saying, ‘I wasn’t breast-fed as a child, so can I taste your breast milk?’ “ she said.Mason politely declines the offer.
I, ummm...I’m not sure where to even start.
Yes, breast milk is food. Yes, we drink milk from other animals all the time, so surely consuming milk from our own species isn’t weird by that standard. Maybe even less weird.
But...it’s still weird. I can’t quite decide why. Maybe offering strangers what amounts to a swig from your wife’s boobs is just a little too advanced for my cloistered midwestern mind. Maybe any action that encourages strangers to CALL your wife asking for a big drink of her breast milk just seems wrong.
“I think a lot of the criticism has to do with the combination of sex and cheese, but . . . the breast is there to make food,” said Lori Mason, the chef’s wife.
There’s nothing inherently wrong with the combination of sex and cheese, and anyone who says otherwise has overlooked the virtues of Cheez Whiz.

OWENSBORO, Ky.—A woman in jail for public intoxication was accused of assaulting a jailer by squirting breast milk at her. WYMT-TV reported that a 31-year-old woman was arrested Thursday on a misdemeanor charge of public intoxication. But as she was changing into an inmate uniform, she squirted breast milk into the face of a female deputy who was with her.
The woman now faces a felony charge of third degree assault on a police officer.

who saw this coming?
Aww… who’m I kiddin’? This is why I didn’t even look at her yet. I knew there was a ‘rat in the woodpile somewhere… This poor boobette can’t even frame the question without tripping over her own preconceptions.
[psst. Hey Blondie. What if you asked the question, “How does this country best achieve an educated citizenry capable of self-governance?” rather than tread yet again the over-worked path of “How do we fix public education?]
“...Where I began as a proponent of “States’ Rights” in education, I have ended by believing that we will never meet our own expectations of public education unless the federal government is willing to play a consistent, long-term role; unless education truly becomes a matter of national policy, not just a matter of national rhetoric.”These words were written by Carly Fiorina in the introduction to her 1989 master’s thesis for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
PFD of full thesis here. Stay tuned to Red County for his analysis of it—and his willingness to be convinced that Fiorina has actually changed her mind; he’s reached out to her campaign for comment. Me—I’m gonna go have a nice lie down…

as goes California, so goes the nation
I have talked with a few students and employees over the last year and I think the angst behind the protests runs something like this. In sum, apparently state employees, teachers, and students believe that there is either (a) a “stash” of money somewhere that is unspent and could easily ease their pain (e.g.,” they” have all sorts of money and are lying to us about its undisclosed location); (b) we could raise income, sales, and gas taxes to even more record highs and encourage perhaps 4,000 a week to leave in consequence (e.g., why do some need BMWs or private planes when “we” need cheaper tuition?); (c) the 1% who pay about 50% of the state income tax burden could easily pay 80-90% of it (e.g., I get along on $50,000, so why can’t someone who makes $300,000 give $250,000 of it to meet “our” needs?); (d) we could renounce our debts to state bond holders (if they have excess cash to buy bonds, why are they so greedy not to give “us” some of it?) and use the savings for more subsidies, entitlements, and salaries (without my job at the DMV, prison, school (fill in the blanks), the rest of you could not survive.)
srsly. RTWT.

shocked
… political influence and lobbyists are shaping Obama administration policy.…
whaaa???!?!?
The emails show that the Department of Energy and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) coordinated their response to a damning Spanish report on “green jobs” with wind industry lobbyists and the Center for American Progress (the progressive think tank founded by John Podesta and funded by George Soros).
